[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ockdown in South Africa has effectively put everything on hold. This means no face-to-face meetings, public gatherings or moving about unless it means getting essential goods.

For some people, not being able to move around means they don’t get paid; but thanks to the internet and web-based solutions this can be remedied. As a gesture of goodwill, Tech Warrior would like to extend a helping hand to those in need. We will be offering free support not only to our customers, but all those who require assistance.

Recently the South African Government requested that all websites in South Africa place a link on their home page or landing page to the official Government COVID-19 website. In true government form, it was a bit vague and ambiguous but you can read the directive (5.1.4 of Gazette 43164) yourself. The idea behind the directive is to use digital technology to combat the spread of COVID-19 in South Africa and deal with the rise of fake news on the subject.

We at Tech Warrior are reaching out to let you know of the directive and to say that if you have a website and would like us to set up and activate the notification on your website, to please let us know. There would be no charge for this change to your website (even if you aren't a customer of ours).

The wording we have used for our website is as follows and we would use the same for you.
